Fay Zenoff, Executive Director, MBA
Fay joined the National Council (NCA-BA) in January of 2014, with extensive management experience in both the private and public sectors, spanning four industries and two continents. Former clients/employers include: Goodwill Industries of San Francisco, Brandeis Hillel Day School, The Gap, Fibronics (Elbit)Ltd., Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, The Weizmann Institute of Science, SelectQuote Insurance, and Hillel at Stanford University with Laura Talmus & Associates. Fay earned her MBA degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and a BA from Sarah Lawrence College in New York. She is passionate about creating growth opportunities and deepening meaning through the alignment of values, resources and goals. Fay is grateful to be in long-term recovery. She is the proud momma of two teen-age daughters and lives in Marin where she loves to hike with her little dog, Nilla.
Pedro Torres, Director of Operations & Prevention, MPA
Pedro joined NCA-BA in March of 2010. He is a US Navy veteran, attended UC San Diego and holds a Master in Public Administration. Pedro has a professional background in laboratory medicine, clinical research and social work. As a passionate advocate for social justice, he serves on a steering committee for the San Francisco Health Improvement Alcohol Policy Partnership Working Group, the Tenderloin Healthy Corner Store Coalition, and Safe Passage. He is a board member for the St. Francis Living Room and the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation. Pedro is a member of the Chicano-Latino-Indigenous Health Equity Coalition. Born and raised in Peru, Pedro grew up in Miami Beach, Florida and now calls San Francisco home. In his spare time, he enjoys fire spinning, motorcycle riding and sky diving.
Nazneen Abdullah, Director of Program Administration, MPH
Nazneen initially joined the National Council (NCA-BA) in 2012 to help coordinate the expansion of the DUI programs. She holds a Masters degree in Public Health with an emphasis in program development and evaluation. Naz has been working in the social behavioral health field since 2000. In addition to management roles at various San Francisco based non-profits, she has worked in both Ecuador and Kenya where she led a tobacco cessation campaign and an HIV prevention campaign, respectively. Her professional focus has been on violence prevention, mental health, HIV/AIDS, and substance abuse. She attributes working in these fields as playing a significant role in her own wellness and recovery process. As a native of San Francisco, Naz has taken special interest in working with San Francisco’s under-served populations.
R. Keith Schroeder, Director of Clinical Services, LMFT, CADC-ll
Keith lead the growth of the NCA-BA DUI Programs for 10 years prior to his serving in his current role. He is also a San Francisco based therapist in private-practice with 20+ years of experience working in the addiction field. His passion is helping clients recover from their addictions and strengthen their sobriety. Keith has worked at a variety of treatment centers including the Redwood Center, Henry Ohlhoff House, and Bayside Marin. Keith’s professional licenses include being a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and a Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. He earned his BS at Loyola University in Chicago and his Masters in Counseling from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
